We got information of the device’s arrival in Uganda and we can now affirm that it’s now available to buy from MTN Uganda Stores. Customers can also get the device from Jumia Uganda. Airtel Uganda will also be carrying the device but we cannot confirm when the device will be available with them.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Price and Availability in Uganda
The Galaxy S6 is going for Ugx 2,250,000 (about $752) with 3GB of data at all MTN Uganda service centers. It’s also available for order on Jumia Uganda with multiple vendors giving different offers of as low as Ugx 2,000,000 (about $668). The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is going for Ugx 2,600,00 (about $870) on Jumia and not MTN Uganda.
Update: Samsung Galaxy S6 now available on Airtel Uganda
Airtel Uganda is finally selling the Samsung Galaxy S6 available at most of their outlets. Airtel Uganda is selling the Galaxy S6 at Ugx 2,000,000 and it comes with 4.5GB of data valid for 3 months. What we are confused about is whether both the S6 and the S6 Edge are going for the same price as indicated on the poster below. (We are calling Airtel to verify) It also seems that Airtel has a better deal offering the same phone at Ugx 250,000 less and with 1.5GB ore data compared to MTN
